We provide free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to help people in Leicestershire to overcome their problems. We’re here for everyone.
We are also a voice for our clients, campaigning on the day-to-day issues that affect their lives.
Our services are delivered by over 230 volunteers and 55 staff at branches in Blaby, Coalville, Hinckley, Leicester city, Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray, and Oadby & Wigston (but not Charnwood, which remains independent).
In 2016/2017, we helped 48,887 people face-to-face, over the phone and by email on a wide range of issues including debt, benefits, housing, family issues, discrimination, employment, immigration, and other problems.
Citizens Advice LeicesterShire is an independent local charity and part of the national Citizens Advice network.

Nationally, Citizens Advice helped 2.7 million people in 2016/17, with 43 million visits to our online self-help advice pages.
