3 April 2017: Important changes to the advice service at Citizens Advice Leicester branch

As of 1 April 2017, there is no longer a drop-in advice service at Citizens Advice Leicester branch.

The Leicester branch will operate a telephone advice service and by appointment only.

The number for telephone advice is 0300 330 1025. Lines are open between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Anyone wishing to get advice on issues such as: debt, benefits, housing, family issues, discrimination, employment, immigration or other problems should contact the telephone advice service first.

They will either get the advice they need over the phone or be referred for an appointment.

Comprehensive information and advice on a full range of issues is also available through the national Citizens Advice website: www.citizensadvice.org.uk.

The Leicester branch can continue to support people by drop-in if they are in crisis. A crisis is an urgent situation, such as eviction, court action, homelessness, no food, being cut off or abuse.
