4 May 2017: Citizens Advice returns to Blaby Town Centre with a new weekly outreach service

From Monday 8 May, Citizens Advice LeicesterShire will be offering a new weekly outreach advice service at Blaby Civic Centre.

The last time Citizens Advice had a presence in Blaby was in January 2015, before the Blaby District branch relocated to the Council Offices in Narborough. Blaby Parish Council has now provided funding for a weekly room at Blaby Civic Centre.

Tony Wells, Service Leader of Citizens Advice LeicesterShire, Harborough and Blaby Districts, said:

“We are delighted that Citizens Advice is returning to Blaby, thanks to the generous support of Blaby Parish Council.

“We often heard from members of the community that our services were missed in Blaby Town Centre, as it wasn’t always easy for clients to travel to our drop-in service in Narborough.

“It is fantastic to be able to extend our range of advice services back to Blaby again on a regular weekly basis.”

The new outreach service is open between 12.30 and 3.45 every Monday, by appointment only. Clients can make an appointment by calling 07929 922 237. Blaby residents can also get general advice for free over the phone by calling 0300 330 1025, 9am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
