19 April 2018: Launch event for Europe Direct project: what can Leicester residents do to prepare for Brexit?

Citizens Advice LeicesterShire is holding a free launch event for our Europe Direct Information Centre on Tuesday 24 April 2018.

The event will focus on how communities can help each other to prepare for the changes to EU citizens’ legal rights to live and work in the UK after Brexit, and British citizens’ rights to live and work in other EU countries.

The session will be delivered by experts from the University of Leicester Law School, Professor Adam Cygan and Dr Oxana Golynker.

There will also be a session on tackling the rise in hate crimes and discrimination in the wake of the Brexit vote, from the Director of TellMAMA.

This free event will be held at Voluntary Action Leicester, 9 Newarke Street, LE1 5SN on Tuesday 24 April, 10am – 1pm. Refreshments will be provided.

Anyone interested in attending this event should visit www.citizensadviceleicestershire.org and follow the link on the homepage to register.
