East Midlands Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Network (EMSTN)

The EMSTN Advice Service provides free and confidential advice on a range of social welfare issues. The service is for anyone who is affected by Sickle Cell or Thalassaemia – including patients and their families. The service covers all of the East Midlands area, which includes clients living in Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Advice areas we can help with include:

  • Housing enquiries 
  • Employment
  • Family and relationships
  • Immigration
  • Discrimination
  • Consumer issues.

Advice will be delivered remotely to help as many people as possible. We are open 9:00am-5:00pm Tuesday- Friday
