New partnership with Lawson West strengthens our employer support service

Supporting employers through change

Citizens Advice LeicesterShire has developed a paid service designed to support employers across Leicestershire with their HR function. Many smaller businesses and VCSE organisations do not have access to a dedicated HR team, and we recognise that the upcoming implementation of the Employment Rights Act will create additional pressures and uncertainty for employers. As the new legislation comes into force, employers will need to ensure their policies, processes and documentation are compliant, up‑to‑date and aligned with the latest statutory requirements.

In response, we have created an affordable and accessible service that removes the barriers often associated with traditional HR support. There are no retainers or membership fees, and pricing is transparent and fair, shaped around the budget an organisation has available. 

To further support the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector and SMEs, we have developed a discounted rate to ensure smaller organisations can access high‑quality HR guidance at a cost that reflects their resources and community impact.

Employers can access expert advice when they need it, supported by an approach rooted in community impact and social value. Through our partnership with Lawson West, this service is further strengthened by the inclusion of robust, legally sound HR policies that employers can trust.
